We love laughter, especially when it’s the sound of our five young children giggling together. We believe in love and are on a constant search for beauty. We’ve experienced deep heartache and unexplicable grace this past year as our fifth baby came into the world with a serious heart defect. As he struggled to survive, we faced the potential of a future without him. Our hearts felt pain, longing, and love in a way we never had before. We had no idea how quickly our lives would change. Oh, how we wished we could scoop him up out of his hospital bed and snuggle his cheeks close to ours. And our four other little ones, hundreds of miles away, would they remember the hugs we longed to give them? Now more than ever, we want to stop and notice the gifts in everyday… small hands holding ours, the way our whole family laughs when the baby smiles, the muddy handprints on the bathroom door, feet splashing through puddles, and even when we are worn out and exhausted and don’t think we can take another step, that we got to share today together. We want to embrace our story as it unfolds. We believe that your life is beautiful and meaningful as well. We would love to create some deeply meaningful images of you and your loved ones.
