My favorite photo of my family I took myself. It is also one of only a handful that I have. As a photographer, I am always behind the camera. If you were to look at a family photo album…you would think my husband was a single parent. Well, until you notice our daughter’s hair looks perfect. Haha I was so proud of getting a picture with our then 4 year old princess looking at the camera. Of course, she was asking why I wanted her to look at no one taking the picture. *Smile* Wow. The memory brings tears to my eyes. Our children are the best work we will ever do. I had the most beautiful Christmas cards made with the picture. Oh, they were so lovely. But the funny thing is I sent very few. Instead, I placed them in random books, journals, files, etc. throughout our home. It is the most wonderful memory when I find one. The moment was so special. To be able to relive it so unexpectedly over the years is beyond amazing.
I would love to win the Family Beloved Session but either way I have enjoyed sharing our special family moment. And wish you all the most amazing family moment as you welcome your new love to your family. So happy for you. ~Mindi

My favorite family picture was taken for our 25th wedding anniversary. I remember the photographer telling us to take off our shoes in Avalanche Creek. My husband, not sure she was serious, obliged and the results were priceless. Wish we could take her to Glacier with us every fall! She is amazing and beats the tri-pod hands down.

One of my favorite family photo shoots was with Edna when she was first born, she pooped all over me I think twice and peed. That of course was with you, just wanted you to know how much i appreciate the memories I have from all the photos you have taken of us. Also when Ed was in the hospital the picture of Jeremy holding her is most precious and kinda makes me tear up a little cause I remembered seeing the love my older brother had for my baby and that was just amazing. Love you and hope you are well and praying for a safe delivery, can’t wait to see you all in November!!!

Our last family portrait was taken when our twins turned one year. It was a wonderful milestone to reach for our family. It represented countless hours of perseverance and bountiful grace from God. Parenting reached an entirely new level with 3 kids 2 years of age and under. I am so grateful for the blessing of our children and the dedication of my husband.

Congratulations on the new baby!
Our favorite family photo was taken by Jenn Oakland, our favorite amateur photographer and friend. She captured a ridiculously sweet image of my two-year old daughter hugging my pregnant belly. Nine months pregnant at the time, we were blessed with a perfect baby boy the very next week! The candid shot portraits our whole families love and anticipation. We are so thankful to have this image as memories fade over time. God bless photography!
